Privacy notice
What this website collects, why, and how to make us delete it.
Who we are
Clinovo is a trading name of Farzeen Semeer, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom. For anything you send us through this website, Clinovo is the data controller. You can reach us at hello@clinovo.uk.
The short version
- The only personal data this website collects is what you type into the contact form.
- We use it to reply to you. We do not sell it, rent it or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
- This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.
- Never send patient information to us through this website. If you need to discuss a specific patient case, do not use this form.
What we collect, and why
The contact form
Your name, your clinic name and website, your email address, the number of clinicians you have, and whatever you write in the message box. We use this to work out whether we can help you and to reply with times for a call.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — responding to a business enquiry you chose to send us. You can object at any time and we will delete the record.
Retention: enquiries that do not become clients are deleted within 24 months. Enquiries that do become clients are kept for the life of the engagement and for six years afterwards, because tax law requires us to keep business records that long.
Buying the Clinic Growth Diagnostic
Payment is taken by Stripe, not by us. Your card details never touch this website or any system we control. We receive your name, your email address and confirmation that the payment succeeded. Stripe is the controller of its own payment data; see the Stripe privacy policy.
Lawful basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
Server logs
Our host records standard technical information for every request: IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string. This is used to keep the site up and to defend it against abuse, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
Lawful basis: legitimate interests — security and availability.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies at all. Not advertising cookies, not analytics cookies, not "essential" ones. That is why you have not been shown a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
We do measure how the site is used, because we would be poor at our job if we did not. We use Google Analytics configured in cookieless mode, with browser storage disabled, IP addresses truncated, Google Signals off and advertising personalisation off. That means we can see that a page was viewed or a button was clicked, and we cannot see that it was you, or recognise you if you come back tomorrow. Nothing collected here is used to build an advertising audience.
Our host also provides aggregate traffic counts, which are derived from server logs rather than from anything stored on your device.
If we ever want measurement that does identify a returning visitor, this page changes first and a real consent banner appears before a single cookie is set.
The video on the proof page
The client testimonial video is hosted on our own site. It is not a YouTube or Vimeo embed, so no third party learns that you watched it, and nothing at all is downloaded until you press play.
Who else sees your data
- Our hosting and CDN provider, to serve the pages and absorb attacks.
- Our form-delivery provider, which relays your contact form submission to our inbox. It stores the message only long enough to deliver it.
- Our email provider, which holds the correspondence.
- Stripe, if you buy the diagnostic.
We do not share your data with anyone else. We do not sell it. We do not use it to train any machine-learning model.
International transfers
Some of the providers above operate outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK it is transferred under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, an adequacy decision, or the provider's approved Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to us processing it. You can also ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@clinovo.uk and we will respond within one month, free of charge.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing clients are notified by email.
